What grade levels do you tutor?

I work with students in upper elementary, middle school, high school, and many college-level math courses.

How do your online tutoring sessions work?

All tutoring sessions are conducted through Zoom using an interactive digital whiteboard and other supplemental materials. Students and I work through problems together in real time, allowing me to model solutions, identify misconceptions, and provide immediate feedback.

How long are tutoring sessions?

A standard session is 60 minutes. We can schedule for up to 90 minutes, depending on the student's needs.

How often should students meet?

Most students benefit from weekly tutoring. Frequency of sessions often depends on the student's goals and needs.

What technology is needed?

Students will need:

A computer or tablet (a device that allows students to write/draw on the screen is preferred)
A reliable internet connection
Zoom installed
Their math materials
A calculator if required for class

Can you help with homework?

Absolutely! Homework is often incorporated into our sessions, but we also focus on helping students understand the concepts behind each problem.

Do you provide practice materials or extra work?

Yes. When appropriate, I provide supplemental examples and practice problems based on the student's needs and current coursework.

How do I know if tutoring is right for my student?

We'll discuss your student's current math course, challenges, and goals before getting started. This helps determine whether my tutoring approach is a good fit for your student.

Do you tutor students who are already doing well?

Absolutely. Tutoring isn't only for students who are struggling. I also work with students who want to strengthen their understanding, stay ahead in their class, prepare for exams, or challenge themselves with more advanced material.

What happens after I submit the inquiry form?

I'll review your inquiry and follow up to arrange a brief phone consultation. During the consultation, we'll discuss your student's needs and determine whether tutoring is a good fit before discussing scheduling and next steps.
